Terry Jones, Head of L&D at BT Openreach provided his summary of the Social Learning Conference in this short interview.

He said that the three steps to implementing an effective social learning strategy were:

  1. The right technology
  2. Great content – to make it engaging and fun
  3. The right culture

Jones also said that the shift to social learning presented some challenges for L&D skills. He advised trying out new things and using an iterative approach to developing learning in the organisation.
